The Missing Crime

The Beginning:

You are Adam, an investigative journalist searching for his childhood friend Khaled, who disappeared a week ago while investigating an abandoned factory outside the city. The last message you received from him was just a garbled audio recording, repeating the same phrase: "The basement... the basement is moving."

Arriving at the Factory:

The factory has been abandoned for 20 years after a mysterious "incident" halted all production. You arrive at night, in the pouring rain. The main door is locked, but you find a side door wide open, as if waiting for you. Upon entering, the floor lamps automatically turn on in front of you and turn off gradually behind you.

The Stranger:

The factory seems very quiet... but you begin to hear whispers coming from underground. Sometimes you hear a conversation between a mother and child. Sometimes sighs. And sometimes the tapping of fingers on a metal wall.
